Fleet combat reimagined
In a distant galaxy an expedition force finds themselves lost in space without a way to chart a path forward. The fleet discovers that the fabric of spacetime holds the memories of previous ship journeys, and possibly a path forward to salvation: the nullvector protocol. Each flagship captain will manually guide the fleet through hyperspace by reacting to these pathways using neuralink technology and gruelling conditioning.
